TEACHING

For me, teaching is about helping each student develop a strong technical foundation, an individual musical voice and the confidence to perform at their highest level.

I offer individual lessons, masterclasses and specialised coaching for flutists at different stages of their musical development, both in person and online. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s individual goals and may focus on:

• Flute technique, sound and musical interpretation
• Orchestral audition preparation and orchestral excerpts
• International competitions and performance preparation
• Solo and orchestral repertoire
• Effective practice methods and stage confidence
• Artistic and professional development
• Guidance for students interested in studying or pursuing a professional career in Europe

Drawing on my experience as Principal Flute of the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln and the Staatskapelle Weimar, as well as my training at the Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker, I aim to offer practical guidance grounded in professional orchestral and international performance experience.
